Description
Our experienced teacher Maarten Damen will lead you through the pottery process, from designing your own ceramics, to throwing them, then finishing, glazing and drying. Finish by firing your creations in a handmade wood-burning oven.
We will start by throwing smaller pieces, then we will move on to more and more advanced ceramics as you become accustomed to working with clay. A part of a small, intimate group, you will be given lots of attention by Maarten so that you can really develop your skill.

1  Picture of the Accommodation and Location
The Green Circle is located in the natural estate of De Zonnebloem in the east of Holland. Our spaces are all built with nature in mind. The metal forging workshop, for example, stands between two banks and features a grass roof. Our basketry and sculpture workshops are held in a beautiful wooden structure, sheltered with a cotton tarpaulin. Our new field kitchen features a cozy campfire and is protected by a large roof. During your stay, you can sleep in a tent, a camper or a log cabin on our premises. Alternatively, there are lots of B&Bs, hostels and hotels nearby.
