Detailed Daily Program
Description
These underwater locations, including a ship wreck, will blow your mind. This PADI’s Open Water Diver course covers everything you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. This 'classroom' part of the course can be completed online via e-Learning, allowing you the flexibility to complete all academic components of the course at a pace that suits your personal needs and schedule so you don’t have to spend any time of your holiday in the classroom. Time to complete: 5-8 hours.

Pool Session
Confined Water Dives - After learning all the basic principals, you will review your learning, answer questions you may have and most importantly, put your new knowledge to use in our pool. During the confined water dives you will learn the basic scuba skills that you will use for the rest of your Open Water course. A couple of things we will be doing in the pool are:
- 200 meter swim
- Tread water for 10 minutes
- Assemble, put on and adjust scuba gear
- Pre-dive safety check (BWRAF)
- Inflate and deflate BCD
- Clear snorkel on ascent and much more
Time: 7.30am - 1pm, or as long as you need.

First Two Open Water Dives
It’s time for your first underwater experience on a real dive site. Review your skills learnt on the previous day and take time to explore the ocean! Your instructor will take you to a dive site that is not only safe, secure and easy, but also bursting with marine life. Dive 1 will orientate you, get you comfortable with the scuba gear and test a few of the above skills. Dive 2 will test your skills.
Time: 7.30am - 3pm

Two More Open Water Dives
You are nearly there! Two more dive sites and two more dives down to a maximum of 18m and you will be a fully qualified scuba diver. With minimal time spent on skills, the main focus of these two dives is fun, exploring the ocean and discovering the exciting marine life that lies below the sea. Dive 3 will furthermore test your skills and Dive 4 is usually a more relaxed affair allowing you to use and enjoy your newly developed skills.
Time: 7.30am - 3pm

The first day of training will take place in our private swimming pool. Our Sanur dive shop has three speed boats with outboard boat engines and four comfortable air-conditioned buses that shuttle our guests from hotels and villas to the dive sites in every region of Bali.
