Description
Using oil paint, learn how to interpret nature's beauty. Alexander Smith will give you an introductory lesson, then guide you as you work. Painting nature is all about interpretation and perspective so you will be encouraged to follow your instinct, using some methods and techniques of working with oil paints. Specifically, he will focus on brush orientation, color work, palette knifes, texture and light.

During this day we will paint the famous "Three Gate Guardians" of park "De Gulden Bodem" in Arnhem.

This workshop will take place close to Huis Zypendaal. On the other side of the road are the famous three gate guardians: three majestic trees that keep guard of the entrance of this part of the park. At 10.00 in the morning we will meet at the parking spot on the side of the Zypendaalseweg, slightly opposite of Huis Zypendaal.
