Detailed Daily Program
Description
Monday-Friday, you will have 4 hours of classes spread into morning and evening blocks. This can extend to the weekend if necessary. By 11:30, until 19:00, we'll head out of the house for some cultural and recreational activities. Our teaching location is surrounded by rich historical heritage and natural scenery, ideal for exploring, cycling, wandering - you name it. We have lunch in restaurants at destination.
Our method for learning Spanish is based on real-life conversation and a full cultural exploration of the area. If your level is more basic, we will spend more time on traditional and theoretical aspects of Spanish.
Through a permanent face-to-face interaction with your teacher, language learning is all-day on; and you don't have to adapt to other student's learning rythms and preferences. We let pressure go to allow natural assimilation.
All the while we practice a healthy diet and lifestyle. Sports, walks, trekking are all part of your holiday experience all while continuing to learn and speak Spanish.
Historic, local villages and Romanic spots: Oña, Frías, Medina de Pomar, Espinosa de los Monteros preserve impressive buildings and monuments from the old glory days.
Trekking and activities: Parque Natural de Valderejo, Montes Obarenes, Pico Humión, gorges of rivers Purón and Sobrón, forests, hermitages, the beautiful 110km long karstic caves of San Bernabé and Ojo Guareña, the river Ebro Canyon to name a few.
For 1 students the price is €820. For 2 students the price is €740pp and for 3 students the price is €665pp. Those who are not interested in the Spanish courses are still welcome and will pay a 15% discount on the base price, depending on the number of students.

Typical day program
07:00-07:30 Walk (Optional).
07:30-09:00 Let's prepare breakfast together! Savoury and sweet breakfast including cereals, teas, chocolate milk, coffee, bread and homemade jam.
09:00- 11:30 Spanish lessons (1).
11:30- 19:00 Visit of the day to the surrounding villages and monuments in the country, nature and complementary activities (2).
(13:30- 16:00 Lunch in a restaurant and rest).
19:00-20:30 Complete the lesson hours, with new matters arised spontaneously arised during the day.
20:30.21:30 Dinner at home.
21:30-00:00 Free time to prepare nect day's inverted lesson, play home activities (games, movies, opera), guided stargazing and rest.
(1) Guest has personal free time everyday.

The village in which this course takes place is Las Viadas, in the region of Merindades, a beautiful, quiet area that is ideal for trekking and a paradise for Romanic art and sightseeing. Las Viadas is quiet and small, on the slope of Valderejo Natural Park, ~75 km from Bilbao and Vitoria and ~100km from Burgos and Santander. Estilo de Vida, where teaching takes place, is a refurbished traditional stone house with three floors, four rooms for guests, a garden with BBQ set, WiFi, video set, giant screen, and a 135m² open area with table tennis, table football, a multi-darts set and several board games, as well as two balconies that offer a gorgeous space to watch the stars at night. You will find the house and the village are perfect places to not only learn, but also wind down after a long day of learning!
