Description
Welcome to our landscape painting course in France. This is an opportunity to paint and draw 'en plein air' in our exquisite region. The painting course includes tutoring in both topographical and natural landscape. As with all our painting courses, colour theory and preparation of drawing and painting media are explained and demonstrated in the studio. The days are spent with a tutor, in the open air, in the various and beautiful sites of our sunny region.
Rest assured that you'll find lots of inspiration in the region; Courbet, Cezanne and Van Gogh never got tired of painting the local landscape.
There will be yoga morning practise to commence the day with drive and optimism.
At the end of the day there will be gentle movement yoga practise, concentrating on relaxation and restoration.
Yoga teacher to be announced.

About Aubais
About Aubais
Wikipedia doesn´t like to share the information at the moment.
Aubais is a beautiful village of nearly 3,000 inhabitants, and a well kept secret. It's close to two airports and train stations, but essentially it is unspoilt and rural. The main local agricultural product is wine, so the surrounding countryside is covered with vineyards as well as olive groves. There are beautiful walks in all directions. Maison Jean is located in the heart of the village. There are several shops, including a pharmacy. In the village square there is a cafe and a picturesque chateau. The course takes place in the landscape around the village.
At Maison Jean there is a large studio and a house we call the Bergerie where our students stay. It has six double bedrooms, with comfortable beds and good bedlinen. Some rooms have ensuite bathrooms, there is a kitchen where all meals are prepared for our students and a sitting room for our students to use.
Outside there is a garden and a large courtyard with tables, chairs, sun loungers and deckchairs.
There is a heated indoor swimming pool made from the old wine 'cuves' for everyone to use. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided and included in the cost of the course, as are soft drinks, tea, coffee, wine and beer. The food is a very popular part of the experience with us.
